Will Self-Direction in NY pay for my Relationspot Community Membership, my One-to-One Social Coaching Community Classes, and/or Relationspot events?
Though every Financial Intermediary for Self-Direction decides what is appropriate for each client, Relationspot Membership fees, 1:1 Coaching Community Classes, and some of our events have been approved by many Financial Intermediaries. I’m part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Is Relationspot for me?
Yes! We are an inclusive and affirming community for all identities and orientations 21+ with most current members.
How much is a Community Membership and what is included?
Annual Community Membership is $85 per month
This will be automatically charged to your card for 12 months as per your annual contract.
Our membership fees have been approved by most Self-Direction FI’s.

What is the free 1:1 Coaching/Welcome Session? Do I pay extra for it?
Get personalized guidance from our coaches with a 1:1 Coaching/Welcome Session. This session is to get to know you better and help you get the most out of your membership. There is no extra fee, it is included in your yearly Community Membership.
I am a Community Member, do I receive discounts on special events, mixers, and 1:1 Coaching Community Classes?
Yes! Members receive special Discounts on 1:1 Coaching Community Classes: Single Sessions & Packages, as well as discounts on special events and mixers.
*1:1 Coaching Community Classes, special events, and mixers are open to members and non-members. Members pay a discounted price. Non-members pay full price.
Is there an age limit for membership?
Our community is open to people 21+, with most current members being 21-45 years old.
Do you offer 1:1 Coaching Community Classes and how much are they?
Our 1:1 Coaching Community Classes are designed to help you gain confidence, interpret body language, and much more. We offer private and semi-private. Community Members get a discounted price on all coaching.
A Single 1:1 Community Class
- Members: $165 per session
- Non- Members: $195 per session
1:1 Coaching Community Class Package:
Series of 6, one-hour Classes
- Members: $990 per package
- Non-Members: $1170 per package
Semi-Private or Couples Coaching Community Class Package
Series of 6, one-hour Classes (2 people per class)
- Members: $790 per person, per package
- Non-Members: $990 per person, per package
Do I have to purchase a 1:1 Coaching Community Class Package?
You can purchase a single 1:1 Coaching Community Class, or one of our packages.
Each 1:1 Community Class is designed to help you with different aspects of meaningful relationships.
Can I purchase a single 1:1 Coaching Community Class at a time?
Yes!

Do I always work with the same Relationspot Coach?
We always try to pair you with the same Relationspot Coach who will get to know you and build a relationship with you.
What if I would like to work with a different Relationspot Coach?
We understand that different personalities don’t always mesh. If you would like to work with a different Relationspot Coach, please reach out us at contact@relationspot.com and we will do our best to find you another coach.
Can I purchase 1:1 Coaching Community Classes if I'm not a Community Member?
Yes, we offer 1:1 Coaching Community Classes at a non-member rate.
Are all in-person events in New York City?
In-person events currently take place in and around the New York City area and Westchester.
Do I have to pay for in-person events if I am a Community Member?
Yes, there is usually a charge for our in-person events. Our events are held in fun places that have fees like restaurants, bowling, and mini golf to name a few. We also have our coaches there to help facilitate at every event. These events are open to members only.
How much do weekly in-person events cost?
The price depends on what the activity is and where it is being held. You can check on our Events page to see how much specific upcoming events cost.
Can I still attend in-person events if I am not a Relationspot Member yet?
No, only paid Community Members can attend our virtual and in-person events.
Non-Members are welcome to attend our special events, mixers, and purchase our 1:1 Coaching Community Classes non-member pricing.
What are some activities Relationspot does for in-person events?
Our weekly in-person events can include many different fun activities, such as our Relationspot Dinner Club, bowling, arcades, arts & crafts, and mini-golf, and much more.
Will there be coaches at all Relationspot events?
Yes! We always have coaches at each of our events!
How are the in-person events planned?
Our Planning Committee, made up of some of our members, meets to plan the fun activities for each month. We are always open to suggestions! Just email them to contact@relationspot.com.
I can't make it in person, what are the virtual community opportunities?
We understand that some people might live out of the area where we hold in-person events, and it might not always be possible for our members to attend every event. That’s why we’re thrilled to offer an Online-Only Membership for $45 per month. You can attend our weekly virtual get-togethers, monthly Community Classes, and get discounts on our 1:1 Coaching Community Class packages.
What can I expect at a weekly Zoom event?
Our weekly Zoom meetings are always fun and full of excitement. From Meet & Greets to trivia, to Karaoke, you’re bound to have a great time chatting and making new friends!
Can non-members join a Zoom get-together?
Our Zoom Get-Togethers are members only events. If you would like to try out a Zoom Get-Together before becoming a member, please reach out to contact@relationspot.com for a one-time code.
Do you provide transportation to in-person Relationspot events?
No, we do not provide transportation. Everyone is responsible for getting to and from the events on their own.
What if I am not sure if I want to be a member anymore?
We understand that circumstances change. Members can put their memberships on hold for up to 12 months (some restrictions apply).
